YOUR CHANCE TO RECORD WITH MADELINE BELL!

An exiting opportunity has arisen for people to record with one of the finest voices of all time.

Musician and Entrepreneur Matthew Jones has recently signed with legendary singer Madeline Bell to record an album celebrating her 50 years in the business.

Madeline’s early success includes two Northern Soul classics (Picture Me Gone and Go Ahead On), a 1968 USA single (I’m Gonna Make You Love Me) and various Blue Mink hits (Melting Pot, Good Morning Freedom and Banner Man). A respected collaborator, Madeline was also responsible for the distinctive backing vocals on (most notably) Joe Cocker’s ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ and Dusty Springfield’s ‘In The Middle Of Nowhere’. She has since enjoyed an illustrious career through almost every realm of the industry.

The new album (in aid of the British Heart Foundation) will premiere brand new arrangements of Madeline’s highlights as a solo artist, band member, backing singer and entertainer. Featuring The Matthew Jones Orchestra and Choir, this large-scale recording will take place at the prestigious Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire.

A firm believer that everyone can sing, Matthew is now looking to augment the choir with people of all ages, with and without singing experience. Full training will be provided for all - ideal for those who enjoy a challenge and have a passion for fundraising.

The choir’s past success includes productions of Mozart‘s ‘Coronation Mass’, Faure’s ‘Requiem’, Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ and Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’ at some of the UK’s finest venues. Their last recording collaboration with lyricist Don Black raised over £10,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Rehearsals commence in April at Highclare School - The Abbey, Erdington.

Madeline has become a supporter of Dutch animal charity SPOTS. SPOTS stands for Save and Protect Our TreasureS. SPOTS was founded in 2004 in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands in an effort to prevent the big cats from becoming extinct. The focus for SPOTS is the cheetah, for this cat cannot be saved if we wait too long. Not many organizations are focusing on the cheetah thus few people know that the fastest land mammal in the world is today running her most important race - the one for survival.

Education is one of SPOTS' focus points. Another one is financial aid to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) based in Namibia, the country with the largest number of wild cheetah. In Namibia, CCF has achieved important results.
