Madeline's beloved husband Barry Reeves passed away on February 6, 2010, following a brave fight against pneumonia.

Barry had spent over a year in hospitals with injuries sustained in a fall in January 2009.

 Barry was a drummer with The Checkmates, Ferris Wheel, and Blossom Toes (left) in the 1960s, but is more noted for his work with The James Last Orchestra, where he was both drummer & percussionist, and indeed with Madeline.

In addition to his playing Barry also co-wrote many songs with James Last.
